Your colon not only removes waste from the body, it also plays an important role in your overall well-being. It discharges waste, eliminating toxins, pesticides and other poisons from the system. The elimination process is of utmost importance for your health, so you better not neglect it.
Improperly functioning colon increases your risk of developing diseases as toxins spend too much time in your body. They end up in your bloodstream eventually.
Your colon is important
Think of all the processed foods, refined sugars, additives and chemicals that pass through your colon. This adds extra pressure and burden on your colon, affecting its function.
Do you feel tired and bloated?
Pay close attention to your physical condition to determine if you have any of the following symptoms:
• Frequent loose stools
• Irregular bowel movements (or less than 1 bowel movement/day)
If you have any of these symptoms, your colon needs a good cleanse. Find out what foods trigger your digestive problems. Cleanse your colon while optimizing the function of your organs. Are you dealing with food intolerance or sensitivity? Eliminate that food from your diet for a month, and see if your condition improves.
Try the following digestive tonic. It will soon become your favorite.
3-juice colon cleanse
½ cup organic apple juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger juice
½ tsp sea salt
½ cup warm, filtered water
Heat up the water, but make sure it doesn’t boil. It should be good enough for you to drink it.
Transfer the water into a highball glass. Stir in the salt.
Add the juices and stir well.
Drink this in the morning before you eat or drink anything. Have another cleansing drink before your lunch and again mid-afternoon.
Support your colon
Make sure you follow a balanced diet plan, and boost your soluble and insoluble fiber intake. Drink plenty of water. These are the basic steps you should follow every day.
